Meet our team

Bec is the heart and home of LEON Barbers, working in our family run salon since she was 16 years old. Daughter of founder 'LEON' and now senior partner, Bec has trained with a number of notable Academies such as Vidal Sassoon, Robert Heed and the Shoreditch academy for Barbers in London. 

Achieving the highest levels of  NVQ along with 30 years of experience, Bec has built up a loyal client base, spanning generations. 

Bec works:

Monday 9am - 6pm (lunch break 12pm -1pm)

Tuesday 9am - 6pm Taking appointments all day

Thursday 2pm - 8pm (Taking Appointments)

Friday 9am - 6.30pm (walk-ins all day, lunch break 12.30 - 1.30)

Saturday 9am - 1.30 taking appointments --- 2.30 - 5pm Walk-ins

Marion Started her career in her home town of Lincoln where she achieved Qualifications right up to the highest NVQ level 111 and D32 Assessors awards. She went on to complete the Training and development Award and D33 Assessors award in 1997. 

Marion worked as a Teacher of Hairdressing at Introtran and John Michael Hair Design where she was a senior stylist. she achieved a wealth of additional certifications in all aspects of colouring, Perming 

including an intensive course with Wella Studios in london. 

Marion has been working with LEON Barbers since 2003. bringing a wealth of experience, Marion is excellent in all aspects of barbering, traditional styles as well as the latest fashions.

Marion works:

Wednesday 9am - 6pm ( taking Appointments)

Thursday 9am - 2pm

Friday 9am - 2pm

Saturday on rota

Vanessa has also been working with LEON Barbers since 2003. Having completed her NVQ training at chesterfield college. Over the years, she has built up amazing experience in all classic styles as well as the latest fashions. Vanessa is a valuable member of our team.

Vanessa works:

Wednesday 9am - 6pm

Thursday 9am - 2pm (taking Appointments)

Friday 1.00pm - 6.30pm

Jo has joined the team and we couldn't be happier!

Jo's enthusiasm and skills  as a barber are a welcome asset to our salon. She is a breath of fresh air and new energy. Jo is fully qualified and excited to get to know all of you and your hair! She is also keen to bring the gentlemen's wet shave to our salon. so you can now book in on a Friday with Jo for a luxury Beard Trim with hot towel or a full luxury Wet Shave

Qualifications:

Level 2 NVQ hairdressing at the Roundhouse Derby College.

VTCT Level 3 Barbering

Our Founder Member of the team Leon takes care of all the Accounting and bookkeeping for the Business. He still takes an interest in the business and is always happy to share his years of experience. 

We have Loved having Beth on our Team, Beth has perfected her barbering skills over the last year and is now moving on to new ventures. 

We wish Beth every happiness and success in all she does.

Our new member. Matt is about to complete his level 2 at Vision West Nottinghamshire College

we are expecting great things form Matt in the years to come and can't wait to see his progress as part of our team.
